🔍 New: Data Review Tool
We’re excited to announce the rollout of our Data Review Tool, designed to enhance the security, accuracy, and compliance of screenshot data used within Skyllful.

Why It Matters
Previously, screenshots and screen captures were uploaded directly to the server — sometimes including sensitive or private information. The new Data Review Tool introduces the option to allow learning program admins to enforce a controlled review process that ensures no image leaves your local environment until you’ve verified and approved it.
How It Works
Enable: From the Learning Program Settings page, enable the restriction that all screenshots must be reviewed before upload.
Ingest Screens: Add screenshots via Screen Library, Replica Video Capture, or Lesson Builder.
Review and Edit: Use the Data Review Tool to detect text, redact sensitive data, and verify edits.
Find & Replace: Apply pattern-based anonymization (e.g., :phone, :email, :ssn) or custom regex rules.
CSV Automation: Import simple CSV files with redaction rules for consistency across batches.
Upload & Confirm: Approve and upload each reviewed screen to Skyllful, ensuring only sanitized content is shared.
👀 Enhancement: Improved Heatmap Functionality
We’ve upgraded Skyllful’s Heatmap Analytics to give admins and content creators deeper insight into learner interactions and performance.

What’s New
🕒 Time-Based Filtering:
Filter heatmap data by 30, 60, or 90 days, or choose a custom date range to focus on recent or long-term learner behavior.
🎯 Correct Action Context:
The heatmap now displays the correct control or UI element users were expected to interact with — helping reviewers quickly see whether learners took the right actions.
💬 Instructional Text Display:
For each step in a walkthrough, the system now shows the instructional text learners saw, giving reviewers full context for each action and response.
These improvements make it easier to spot trends, diagnose confusion, and refine learning programs with precision.
Stay tuned for more exciting updates in our December release!
