Developing Walkthroughs Step-By-Step

Walkthrough is the default developmental mode in Skyllful Studio, so when you build a Skyllful Lesson, you automatically build in Walkthrough. However, some features must be customized using the Walkthrough development mode.

To access Walkthrough mode:

In Lesson Builder’s View Steps field, click [Walkthrough].

Adjust the Walkthrough Lesson Mode Settings as needed. These include:

  • Time to completion for the mode (approx. 75-85% of the video duration)

  • Skills Covered

  • Overrides for Module Name, Title Override, Description Override, and image

Individual steps are also customizable. In the Walkthrough tab, you can adjust:

  • Whether to include the step in Lesson mode

  • Description

  • Dialog box position

Previewing Walkthrough Mode

When previewing Walkthrough Mode for your lesson, remember to:

  • Check that the dialogue boxes don’t cover key elements.
