Previewing Practice Mode

Purpose of Practice Mode

  • Encourages learners to apply what they’ve learned.

  • Provides hints after incorrect attempts.

  • Reinforces knowledge through guided repetition.

Steps to Create Practice Mode

In Lesson Builder’s View Steps field, click [Practice].

Adjust the Practice Lesson Mode Settings as needed. These include:

  • Time to completion for the mode (approx. 50-75% of the video duration)

  • Skills Covered

  • Overrides for Module Name, Title Override, Description Override, and image

Individual steps are also customizable. In the Practice tab, you can adjust:

  • Whether to include the step in Lesson mode

  • Auto Scroll Control

  • Action the learner must perform

  • Delay

Previewing Practice Mode

When previewing Practice Mode for your lesson:

  • Test for adequate distractor click areas.

  • Confirm that hints appear correctly after mistakes.
