Previewing Knowledge Check Mode

Purpose of Knowledge Check Mode

  • Measures learner mastery through independent execution.

  • Prevents progression until previous modes are completed.

  • Provides no hints or guidance.

Steps to Create Knowledge Check Mode

In Lesson Builder’s View Steps field, click [Knowledge Check].

Adjust the Knowledge Check Lesson Mode Settings as needed. These include:

  • Time to completion for the mode (approx. 25-50% of the video duration)

  • Skills Covered

  • Overrides for Module Name, Title Override, Description Override, and image

Individual steps are also customizable. In the Knowledge Check tab, you can adjust:

  • Whether to include the step in Lesson mode

  • Auto Scroll Control

  • Action the learner must perform

  • Delay

Previewing Knowledge Check Mode

When previewing Knowledge Check Mode for your lesson:

  • Test for adequate distractor click areas.
