Purpose: This guide is for internal support contacts who are helping a learner that can log in to Skyllful but does not see any learning content in their Assignments tab. Work through each step in order before escalating to the Skyllful Customer Experience team.
Step 1: Confirm the Lessons Are Published
Unpublished lessons are not visible to learners, even if they are assigned.
Log in to Skyllful Studio with your admin or manager credentials.
Navigate to the lesson or lessons the learner should be seeing.
Check the publish status of each lesson.
If... | Then... |
|---|---|
The lesson is in Draft status | The lesson has not been published. Publish the lesson if it is ready, then ask the learner to refresh their Assignments tab and check again. |
The lesson is Published | Proceed to Step 2. |
You are unsure whether the lesson should be published | Check with your Skyllful content administrator or training program owner before making changes. |
Step 2: Confirm the Learner Is in the Assignment
A learner will only see content if they have been added to the assignment that contains that lesson.
In Skyllful Studio, navigate to Assignments.
Open the assignment that contains the lesson in question.
Search for the learner by name or email address.
If... | Then... |
|---|---|
The learner is not in the assignment | Add the learner to the assignment and ask them to refresh their Assignments tab. |
The learner is in the assignment | Proceed to Step 3. |
You are not sure which assignment the lesson belongs to | Search by lesson name in Skyllful Studio to identify the correct assignment. |
Step 3: Confirm the Assignment Is Active
An assignment must be active for learners to see and access its content.
In Skyllful Studio, open the assignment in question.
Review the assignment status and date settings.
If... | Then... |
|---|---|
The assignment is inactive or has been deactivated | Reactivate the assignment if appropriate, then ask the learner to refresh and check again. |
The assignment start date is in the future | The assignment is not yet visible to learners. Confirm whether the start date is correct or adjust it if needed. |
The assignment has an end date that has already passed | The assignment has expired. Extend the end date or create a new assignment as appropriate. |
The assignment is active with valid dates | Proceed to Step 4. |
Step 4: Confirm the Learner Is Logging In to the Correct Account
Occasionally a learner may have more than one account, or may be logging in with the wrong credentials, and is therefore viewing a profile that has no assignments.
Confirm the email address or username the learner used to log in.
Compare it to the account listed in Skyllful Studio.
If... | Then... |
|---|---|
The learner is logged in with a different account than the one in Skyllful Studio | Ask the learner to log out and log back in using the correct credentials. |
The learner has duplicate accounts in the system | Escalate to the Skyllful CX team to resolve the duplicate account issue. |
The learner is logged in to the correct account | Proceed to Step 5. |
Step 5: Escalate to Skyllful Customer Experience
If you have worked through all steps above and the learner still does not see their content, submit a support request to the Skyllful CX team.
