This article will show you how to utilize onboard AI to auto-translate Skyllful lessons into one of our supported languages.
Translating New Content to a Multilingual Program
The yellow flag in the upper right corner (the one that indicates translations are missing) is only applicable to AI translations. Additionally, inside of Lesson Builder's version tray, the translation icon is only applicable to AI translations. If you make manual translations, these visual indicators will not apply.

Translating Course & Module Titles in Bulk vs. Individually
Best Practices & Troubleshooting
Best Practices
- Course names are organized alphabetically. Therefore, when you translate course names, they may reorder and no longer match between the two UIs. If this is something you want to avoid, number your courses at the beginning of the title. Course titles aren't visible to learners, so this will not impact the training experience.
- Make a habit of checking the upper right corner when working with multiple languages. This helps to avoid working in the wrong language UI and also serves to remind you when translations are missing.
- Unlike courses, modules and lessons are ordered by you, not alphabetically. Do not reorder modules or lessons in an alternate language's UI. If you do, you will have more difficulty translating because they will no longer match in a side-by-side comparison of the lesson's language interfaces.
Troubleshooting
- If you have text in a screen that must be translated, use the [Text Detect] feature in Replica Maker to convert it into a text element. Once the text has been extracted from the image, you can translate it in alternate language UIs without changing the English screen.
