Discover the latest enhancements to the Skyllful platform! This month, we're excited to introduce substantial improvements to platform authentication, learner experience, and Replica Maker rendering.

SAML Authentication 🛡️

Introducing our latest update, featuring SAML Authentication, a powerful addition to our platform SSO Support. SAML, or Security Assertion Markup Language, facilitates the secure exchange of identity data between an identity provider (IdP) and a service provider (SP) through XML-based standards.

Benefits of Skyllful SSO Authentication

Enhanced User Experience — Simplify access for users by enabling single sign-on across multiple service providers. This streamlines authentication, reducing the burden of managing multiple login credentials.

Heightened Security — Centralized authentication at a secure identity provider ensures a robust security framework. SSO securely transfers identity information to service providers, enhancing overall system security.

Flexible Directory Management — Unlike traditional methods, SSO eliminates the need for synchronized user information across directories, offering greater flexibility and efficiency.

Cost-Efficiency— SSO reduces the overhead costs associated with maintaining account information across numerous services. 

Previously, customers wishing to use SSO could only access the Skyllful platform through the OpenID protocol. Recognizing the varying security needs of different companies, we now provide the option for expanded SSO authentication through SAML.

Additional Updates

➡️ Improved Rendering of Lesson Mode Buttons

Whether on mobile, web, or smaller screens, prompts and buttons no longer overlap when the screen is scaled down. This ensures a smoother user experience for learners, free from any screen obstructions.

➡️ Streamlined Learner Activity View in IQ

We've eliminated an unnecessary lesson thumbnail to declutter the interface. Furthermore, we've swapped the position of the Module Name and Lesson Title for improved relevance in data analysis. Additionally, the inclusion of Date, Month, and Year in lesson data offers a comprehensive understanding of lesson creation and learner engagement timelines.

➡️ Improved Rendering of Replica Maker

Instructional Designers with small monitors, rejoice! We've upgraded the content creation process in Replica Maker by ensuring seamless scaling to smaller window sizes.

Coming Soon➡️ Lesson Versioning

Exciting enhancements are on the horizon that will greatly benefit Instructional Designers and their collaborative content creation efforts within the Skyllful platform. We will be introducing lesson versioning, a new feature that allows for the editing of published lessons and provides the capability to revert to previous versions within the Lesson Builder.
