We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to your valuable feedback, we have added new features and enhancements to the Skyllful platform. Make sure to keep reading, as in this month's release notes, you will discover a feature that we are confident will become one of your favorites. Spoiler: You can now edit published lessons. 🙌
Access Every Saved Version of a Lesson
Say goodbye to the fear of accidentally deleting important information - every time you hit the update button, a new version of the lesson will be saved!
Each version will have stored with it:
- Version Number
- Designer's Initials
- Save Date & Time
Versions with a special status are indicated as follows:
- Published: Currently published to the learning environment
- Latest: The most recent version undergoing edits, but NOT published
- Latest Published: The most recent version which IS published
- No Designator: Previous versions of the lesson that are neither undergoing edits, nor published
Published Lessons are Now Editable✏️
You no longer need to unpublish a lesson to update its content. Just open the lesson in the lesson builder, make your changes, and when you're satisfied, click "Publish Version" to seamlessly deliver the updated content to your learners.
If you change your mind and want your learners to consume a previous version, just simply select that previous version and click "Publish Version."
Made some changes, but realized you'd prefer to just go back to a previous version and start again? Not a problem!
To edit a previous version, simply unlock* it and begin editing.
*The update button will change to an unlock button when a previous version is selected.

In the lesson displayed above, a designer has made edits to the published lesson. This generated a Latest version of the lesson. As you can see, the version undergoing edits is NOT published.

➡️ Download Assignments Lesson Mode Links
You can now download a spreadsheet that contains the URL for every single mode of learning across all lessons in an assignment. Simply open the assignment and navigate to the overflow menu in the upper right corner.
➡️ Lesson Builder Gets Some Polish
As functionality grows and features are added to the design environment, there's an emerging need to declutter and streamline Lesson Builder's interface. Much like you can toggle between mode tabs to view only the desired content without distractors - you'll now find collapsible panels inside the mode tabs. This will enable you to further customize what is displayed on-screen versus tucked out of sight.

LESSON VERSIONING, in its current launch status, is just the tip of the iceberg. In the next upcoming release, you will have the ability to drill down into lesson histories and metadata!
MODE STYLINGS are going to see a facelift which will give you significantly more control over how on-screen supports appear to your learners.
ASSIGNMENT THUMBNAILS will soon be available so you can make visual distinctions between different assignments (perhaps for different roles) within the same course curriculum.
