Okta OIDC Configuration

Overview

This article provides the steps to configure an Okta OIDC instance to allow authentication to the Skyllful Azure B2C using OIDC.

Configure Okta OIDC

1. From the Okta Admin Panel, navigate to [Applications].

2. Click on the [Create App Integration].

3. On the Create a new app integration modal, select the [OIDC - OpenID Connect] radio button.

4. Select the [Web Application] radio button.

5. Click [Next].

6. On the New Web App Integration modal, type "Skyllful Integration" in the [App integration name] field.

7. Select the [Authorization Code] checkbox.

8. Copy the following URL and paste into the [Sign-in redirect URL] field. 

https://skyllfulplatform.b2clogin.com/skyllfulplatform.onmicrosoft.com/oauth2/authresp

9. In the Assignments section of the modal, identify the appropriate access level for your organization by selecting the appropriate radio button.

If...	Then...
everyone in your organization should have access to Skyllful,	1. select the [Allow everyone in your organization to access" radio button and 2. select the [Enable immediate access with Federations Broker Mode] checkbox.
access is limited to a specific group of users in your organization,	1. select the [Limit access to selected groups] radio button and 2. provide the name of the selected from in the [Selected group(s)] field.

10. Click [Save].

11. Once the app integration is created, provide Skyllful with the following to complete integration: 

• Okta URL: retrieved from the browser (example - “https://trial-2392122-admin.okta.com/”)
• Application Client ID: copied from the Client ID field on the Client Credentials section of the General tab
• Application Secret: copied from the Client Secrets section of the General tab
