Article Overview

In this article, you will learn how to turn language options on and off for any given learning program.  Only languages that have been enabled in Studio can be accessed by the learner.  Enabling a language is only the first step; you must still translate your lesson content once a language has been turned on.  Once you turn a language on - all courses, modules, and lessons within that program will have access to the language.

It is important to understand available functionality as well as limitations of alternate language interfaces in Skyllful.

WHAT CAN YOU TRANSLATE INTO ALTERNATE LANGUAGES?

  • Course, Module & Lesson Titles & Descriptions (Manually or via AI)
  • Walkthrough mode texts (Manually or via AI)
  • Practice mode tips (Manually or via AI)
  • Screen text elements that you added or detected in Replica Maker (Manually)
  • You can upload a translated video
  • You can use
Native Skyllful UI Texts (such as headers, button names, performance feedback, etc.) are already translated for each language offered.
WHAT CANNOT BE OFFERED IN AN ALTERNATE LANGUAGES?

  • You cannot upload different screens, you must use the same screen for all alternate UIs for any given lesson
    • NOTE: This is currently under development.  You will be notified via a Skyllful Release Notes email when it becomes available.
  • Text that is part of the original screenshot (unless it was detected and turned into a text element)
