- Edit an Individual User's Profile
- Bulk Edit Profiles for Multiple Users in Lesson Builder
- Bulk Edit Profiles for Multiple Users via a Spreadsheet
- Best Practices & Troubleshooting
1) Edit an Individual User's Profile
To edit a single user's profile, simply click on their edit icon in the User Management UI.
Don't forget to click on the access levels to edit the permissions for each.
2) Bulk Edit Profiles for Multiple Users in Lesson Builder
Use the filters to locate users who share information you need to edit, or use the search feature to select your group of users.
For this example, we are assuming Curtis Shima has left his position and a new manager has assumed his supervisees:
Curtis' 25 supervisees can be reassigned by changing the Manager on this screen.
3) Bulk Edit Profiles for Multiple Users via a Spreadsheet
To bulk edit using a spreadsheet, you'll export the current list of users, make changes to users' information, then reimport the file.
Use this article to learn how to export and reimport user spreadsheets: Importing & Exporting Users via .csv
4) Best Practices & Troubleshooting
Best Practices
- Filtering users and using [Select All] will grab all users who fit the filter (regardless of whether they are visible on the current screen). When you have more than 100 users that fit the criteria, this saves you from having to repeat thep process for subsequent pages of users.
Troubleshooting
- Using the search bar doesn't yield the results you expect
- The search bar will only search name, email, and person number fields. For any other field, use the filter dropdowns and move from left to right so your options are customized based on your previous selections.
